About JT's

 

JT stands for Jake and Tina. They're a husband and wife team. Jake handles the repairs. Tina handles the money. Who do you think got the better end of this deal?

Acutally, Jake would probably say he did. He loves what he does and would rather play with trains all day than deal with the financials. Growing up in Western Maryland, having grandparents who worked on the railroad, and always stopping to watch a trains go by, it only made sense that I would leave the trucking business and do what he loved.

 

One of the last trucking companies he worked for was right beside the railroad tracks. The company had product delivered by train. This drew Jake into thinking about trains a lot more during the day. He then was given the opportunity to help out in a well established train shop in Hagerstown. First working to help out in the store with customers, product knowledge, and cleaning the restrooms and finally moving on to repair and restore. With respect and well wishes of the shops owner he then decided he would rather clean his own bathroom, so he took his work to his own shop.
